Petite Butterfly Swarm 5”x5”
The marker creates one-of-a-kind textile artworks using sustainable, up-cycled luxury materials. Vintage fabrics, bags, and boxes are carefully deconstructed and transformed into the canvas for each piece, then brought to life through richly textured embroidery stitched directly into the surface. Every appliqué, patch, and butterfly is hand-stitched, cut, cleaned, and placed with intention—making each work truly unique. Designed to be displayed together as a gallery wall or enjoyed on its own, every piece carries its own story while belonging to a larger collection.
The petite swarms are a signature piece at the studio. They start with up-cycled luxury boxes or shopping bags that are trimmed into the background shape, collaged and then embroidered. The embroidery is stitched directly through the actual box itself. Each petite features intricate embroidery stitches that truly make each one unique. Nice the background is complete it is padded and mounted. The butterflies are all embroidered as well and are hand trimmed in our studio. Each butterfly is mounted in relief on the background for a truly unique, dimensional piece of artwork. The Butterfly Swarm petites would make the perfect gift for any art or fashion lover.
