This limited edition fine art print celebrates the radiance, resilience, and sacred beauty of Black womanhood. Each piece is inspired by the women who shaped artist Kristen Woollery’s life—the mothers, grandmothers, and community matriarchs whose strength and grace anchor her creative voice. With every brushstroke, Kristen captures the quiet power and divine presence of the women who have long been the soul of her cultural and spiritual lineage. Kristen’s work draws deeply from her Trinidadian heritage and her Brooklyn upbringing, weaving together color, emotion, and storytelling to create portraits that transcend the canvas. Her bold, luminous palettes echo the vibrancy of the Caribbean, while her abstract forms mirror the rhythm, texture, and layered identity of the African diaspora.
Kristen Woollery is a Brooklyn-born artist based in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Guided by faith and purpose, she creates abstract portraits that serve as both personal reflections and cultural affirmations. Painting became Kristen’s form of therapy, joy, and self-love, a sacred practice that allows her to honor her ancestors while offering viewers a sense of healing and belonging.
